To mark 50 days to go until the 2013 Australian Youth Olympic Festival the AOC hosted a launch event at Sydney Olympic Park. AOC President John Coates and superstars Lauren Jackson (basketball), Matthew Mitcham (diving), Jessica Fox (canoe/kayak - slalom) and Murray Stewart (canoe/kayak - sprint) threw their support behind the AYOF and there was a demonstration of basketball 3x3 with athletes from the NSW Institute of Sport.
