Sydney 2000 10th Anniversary
The 15th of September 2010 marked the 10th Anniversary since Sydney 2000, with a huge day of celebrations. A re-enactment of the opening ceremony with 1,200 primary school kids, sporting activities with Olympians and Paralympians, commemorative plaques being unveiled, the Overflow Park renamed Cathy Freeman Park, a reunion for thousands of volunteers, a concert and then a formal dinner were just some of the activities. The day was a huge success. Congratulations to everyone involved.
