IOC President Thomas Bach visited Australia on his way to ONOC meetings in Fiji. He met with the Australian Prime Minister and other dignitaries. He toured Sydney Olympic Park and on the second day he met with politicians from South-east Queensland who are doing a feasibility study on a 2028 bid that would centre around Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
